Reptile Park

The Australian Reptile park had a dinosaur exhibit during the holidays, so we went up to check it out. It was a lot of fun, however Hannah got a little scared of the dinosaurs walking around everywhere.

Symbio wildlife park

We did lots of exciting things during the school holidays. Today we went to Symbio Wildlife park which is an hours drive south of Sydney.  They have a variety of animals there including some of the kids favourites - crocodiles, tigers and kangaroos.  They also had a swimming pool which the kids didn't want to get out of!

Hello Bondi

It's good to be home and back in the warm summer weather.  And good to be back to the beach.  Now, just to get over this jet lag!

Good bye Germany

We said our farewells today and headed home.  Before the plane took off Frankfurt, they had to de-ice the wings!

Sledding

A fun part of our trip was when we went sledding.  The kids loved flying down the hill with us on the sled.

Watching the snow

We loved just sitting by the window watching the snow fall outside.

The snow is here

It's snowing.  Lots and lots of snow started falling this morning.  It was so lovely to sit by the window and watch as the snow fell. Sebastian loved helping Opa shovel the snow off the footpaths. Later, the kids went up to Helga and Bernd's house for a play. There were lots of sled rides and making snowmen. Uwe showed the kids he was an expert in making snowmen.
