We spent a fabulous New Years Eve with our friends on Garden Island to watch the fireworks and welcome in the new year. Garden Island is one of these terrific spots in the harbour with an excellent view of the Opera house and the Harbour Bridge, the centre of the fireworks. We had a picnic with plenty of food for everyone including a whole watermelon and many bottles of champagne. As always the Sydney fireworks were spectacular!
