Australia Day

Happy Australia Day. I bought Seb a cute little outfit for Australia Day with 'Jnr Aussie' written on it. Yesterday, we received Sebs Australian passport so we can travel to Germany in April. Uwe would really love Seb to have a German passport aswell, but he will find out whether Seb can have both or not.

We also started Seb on solids today, we gave him rice cereal. He didn't like it. He screwed up his face when the first spoonful went in and it all just ran out of his mouth. He's not quite ready to sit up in the high chair yet either. But we will try again tomorrow.

Visit with the family

Seb and I took a trip out to my parents place for a visit and while we were there my sister and nieces also stopped by. He is so good with other people, he doesn't mind being passed around. He was a good boy and loved playing with everyone.

January 2012

So much has happened in the last month. Just before Christmas Seb started rolling from his back to his tummy. This caused some worry for mummy as he started rolling onto his tummy while he was sleeping. But he is strong enough that he can hold his head up and move it to the side. He loves his tummy time and is getting stronger every day. He loves us to read to him and he loves looking at books. Uwe has started talking to him in German so he gets familar with both English and German, maybe Seb will have to teach mummy some aswell.
