On the move

Well, it had to happen sooner or later.  Sebastian is on the move.  He has a very unique way of moving, its called commando crawling.  He doesn't get onto his knees, he just slides on his tummy. Check out the video below to see what he does with his ankles and feet, not sure where he got that idea from.  Now, he can't be left alone or he will disappear somewhere!

First Mothers Day

My first Mothers day was very special. I was spoilt with a sleep in and then breakfast in the local cafe before heading to my parents place to visit my mum.  Sebastian bought me a new wallet, it was exactly what I wanted.

Holiday Part 5 - Singapore

On the way back home via Singapore. This time we stayed in the shopping district of Singapore, Orchard Road.  We also visited the latest attraction, the Marina Bay Sands. Needless to say, we couldn't afford to stay there. The rooms start from $600.

Back in Neubrunn we spent more time with the family and friends. As you can see in the pictures below, Sebastian felt at home immediately.

Holiday Part 3 - Road Trip

We decided to go on a road trip for a few days.  We headed south and passed through Austria and Switzerland to get to Liechtenstein. The scenery along the way was just stunning. While we were in Liechtenstein we saw the castle, enjoyed lunch and even got a stamp in our passports! Sebastian also got his first Kuhglocke (cow bell).

 Vaduz Castle

We left Vaduz and headed north through Switzerland for the Bodensee.  The Bodensee is surrounded by 3 countries - Germany, Switzerland and Austria.  We stayed in one of the small towns along the shore of the Bodensee on the German side.

We took a day trip by boat to Insel Mainau.  It is called the flower island because the whole island is a botanical garden, with flowers everywhere.

Castle Meersburg

We left the Bodensee and headed north.  We originally were heading for Heidelberg but changed our minds and decided to go to Strasbourg, France instead via the black forest. Strasbourg was absolutely stunning, I loved to just walk around and see all the buildings and watch all the people.  Sebastian was a gem, he was happy all the time and is a very good traveller.

The cathedral was too big to get into one picture
