Afternoon at the beach

A gorgeous afternoon to spend at the beach.  Its a bit hard to see where Sebastian and Uwe are, but they are in the centre of the photo.

The Botanical Gardens

We took a trip into the Botanical Gardens to show Helga and Bernd where we got married in the Herb Garden.  We took the bus into the city and walked around the gardens.

Zoo

We have an annual pass to the zoo and since Sebastian had such a wonderful time the last time we were there, I thought we could make a trip to the zoo a regular outing for us. This time Sebastian loved the elephants.  He was very excited to get his face painted too, and I was surprised he chose the tiger.  It was so cute.

Playground

Hannah loves the playground just as much as Sebastian.

Watsons Bay again

It was Jenny's last day in Australia before she headed home to Germany, so we wanted to have breakfast at the Dunbar House in Watsons Bay.  When we got there, they were closed for a wedding, so we ended up back at the Hotel we went to the night before.  We also enjoyed a nice walk along the water before heading home.

Enjoying dinner out

Uwe had the day off work to have some family photos done, so we went to Watsons Bay to have an early dinner and to beat the crowd on a Friday night.  It was the first time we ordered something from the restaurant menu for Sebastian to eat.  Usually there has been something he can't eat on the menu (like potatoes, chicken, rice, etc) but tonight we ordered fish with vegetables.  Couldn't believe the portion size for a kids meal.

Almost there

Hannah is just over 7 months and is nearly crawling and pulling herself up.  For a few weeks she has been on her hands and knees rocking and she is now starting to move her knees forward.  Won't be long now.

Hannahs first time on the swing and slide. She loved it.  She couldn't stop smiling and laughing.  The boys also enjoyed the swing too.

 

 

Beach

This afternoon, we took a walk down to the beach.  It was quite a warm day and lots of people were at the beach. Every time I look at Sebastian I imagine when he is older that he will be a surfer boy. It must be his gorgeous hair!

Enjoying Breakfast

A power outage in our area meant we walked to the beach for breakfast.  Sebastian is loving having toast for breakfast these days and loving his babycinos.
