New Years Eve

We wanted to take the kids to watch the fireworks at 9pm in celebration of New Years Eve. We went down to Rose Bay beach and had the perfect view.  We all loved watching the fireworks, it was so exciting for the kids to watch.  We went home and got the sparklers out before heading to bed.  Happy New Year everyone.

Beach

Another beautiful day in Sydney meant we headed to the beach.  Fun in the sand and water.  Great way to end the year. 

Zoo with Daddy

The kids wanted to take Daddy to the zoo while he was on holidays.  They had so much fun showing him all the animals and everything to see.

Loving his digger he got for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa.  He first started using it in his sandpit, now he is digging up the backyard.  Oh dear!!

Boxing Day

For Uwe's birthday, we headed up to Watsons Bay to watch the start of the Sydney to Hobart yacht race.  We had a great view from the cliffs of all the boats coming out of the heads and making their way south.  The kids enjoyed an ice cream before chasing the ball around the park.

Christmas lunch

We spent Christmas lunch at my parents house.  So many more presents for the kids!! A wonderful lunch where we ate too much and a bit of relaxing afterwards.  The cousins all played together.  Such a lovely day.

Christmas morning

So much excitement in the house this morning when the kids arrived in the lounge room to see gigantic wrapped presents. They both started with the little presents before moving onto the big ones.  The two big presents were thankfully going in the cubby house.  We quickly got dressed and the kids spent the morning playing outside with the new toys in the cubby house.  So much fun spent playing with the kitchen, shopping trolley and play food and Sebastian's tool bench and work tools.
