Ice skating

As part of the Winter Festival, they set up an ice skating rink at Bondi Beach.  Sebastian seemed to have a great time but Hannah didn't like it at all.  She came off the ice after a few minutes of crying. 

 

Zoo

A glorious morning spent at the zoo.  These guys love coming here.

Dress ups

Sebastian had dress ups at preschool, so he was testing out which costume he would wear.  He ended up choosing to go as Spiderman.  (Hulk looked a little bit scary to me).

Weekend in Brisbane

With the kids at my Mum and Dads house for the weekend, Uwe and I had our first weekend away without them. We flew up to Brisbane in the morning and visited a wonderful scrapbook shop and had lunch by the water. After a little afternoon rest we headed out to celebrate Jenny's 40th birthday. The party was lovely and it was great to catch up with Jon and Jenny and celebrate Jenny's birthday. On Sunday, we caught up Jon, Jenny and the kids for an early lunch and then headed to the airport to go home.

First time at the movies

We took the kids to the movies for the first time to watch the Octonauts movie.  They absolutely loved sitting there eating their popcorn watching the movie.  They even got to meet Captain Barnacles after the movie.  Hannah also rode her scooter for the first time.

Happy Birthday Hannah

Happy Birthday to our gorgeous girl who has turned 2.  It was a lovely day celebrating it and you had a great time with your family and friends.  We love you so much!

Down on the farm

We spent the day at a farm in Western Sydney where the kids could experience a little bit of farm life.  They fed the animals and milked the cows and took a tractor ride around the farm.  They had such a great time exploring the farm.
