Zoo

I took the kids back to the zoo this week because last time we went it was raining and they didn't see many animals.  This time, it was a beautiful day.  So much to see and do.

Weekend with Angie

My best friend Angie, lives about a 3 to 4 hour drive away, so I don't get to see her that often.  It was fantastic to have her come up for the weekend and spend some time with us.  We spent time taking the kids to the playground, went out for a lovely dinner in Watsons Bay and did lots of scrapbooking.  It was a wonderful weekend spent with my best friend.

Woody

Sebastian loves Woody from Toy Story. This morning while dressing up as Woody he wanted to say 'hi to everyone from Woody'.

 

Rainy morning at the zoo

We spent a rainy morning at the zoo.  Most animals were sleeping or trying to get undercover except for the elephants who were swimming in the water.  The kids loved watching them frolic in the water.

The Aquarium

We went to the aquarium with a few friends to see the Octonauts exhibit. We took the ferry from Rose Bay to Circular Quay and then walked to Darling Harbour.  The kids loved seeing all the animals and then the Octonauts display.  They even got to meet Captain Barnacles before we left.
