Chalkboard

The kids are loving using their new chalkboard Grandpa made for them.  Here they are practising writing their names.

Hair cut

Sebastian and Uwe need to get their hair cut, so while the weather was not so good today, we went to the shops to get it done.  While we were there, Hannah decided she would like to get her hair cut as well.  It was the first time getting her hair cut and she was so excited to sit up on the chair and let the hairdresser cut her hair. 

Rainy day

It was a rainy day today, but it didn't stop Uwe and the kids from heading to the Shuk café for their coffee, babycinos and cookies.

Bronte Beach

We rarely come to Bronte Beach, I'm not sure why as its so close to Bondi.  Sebastian and I had such a lovely day here today. Sebastian first had a play at the playground, before we played a while on the beach.

Zoo

We visited the zoo this morning, seeing all the usual animals.  Today was a special day for the elephants, they were all painted beautiful colours.

Evening at the beach

We picked Hannah up from pre school a bit earlier today and headed straight to Shark Bay for a play at the beach.  I didn't have the kids swimmers, but that didn't stop them from going in the water.  It was so lovely sitting on the sand, watching the kids have a great time and loved watching the sun set over the beautiful harbour. 

School Holidays

Sebastian was on school holidays, so we went to Watsons Bay with two of his best friends from pre school to see an animal show.  They saw a possum, frog, insects, snakes, turtle and an owl.

Beach

Beautiful sunny day meant it was time to go to the beach.

Seaplane flight

For my birthday, Uwe bought me a flight on a sea plane up to Cottage Point Inn to have lunch.  It was such an amazing day.  The flight from Rose Bay to Cottage Point was 20 minutes and flying over Sydney was spectacular.  We landed in the Hawkesbury and felt like we were in the middle of no where with wildlife and nature all around us.  Lunch was beautiful and after we finished, the plane collected us for the return flight back to Rose Bay, detouring over the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
