Winters day at the beach

Daddy had to work over the weekend, so we headed down to the beach for a play.  We started in the playground and then headed to the beach for a play in the sand.  We even saw some camels on the beach.

The kids wanted to take Daddy to the zoo, so we decided to go on Sunday.  It just happened to be one of the coldest winter days in Sydney and was extremely busy. We still had lots of fun though showing Daddy their favourite animals.

Feeding the ducks

Getting back into the routine of our normal life after returning from Germany.  We drove up to Centennial Park with some bread and fed the ducks.  The kids love to throw the bread to the birds, ducks and pelicans, although they were a little scared when the pelicans tried grabbing the bread out of their hands.

Last sunset in Germany

We have had the most amazing time in Germany. Countless hours were spent in the garden picking fruit and vegetables, collecting the eggs from the chickens and feeding them, we travelled to some amazing places, ate lots of delicious food and caught up with lots of family and friends.  The next time we come back to Germany, this view will be full of snow.

Kiliani

So much fun at Kiliani today. It was very simular to the Easter Show in Sydney.  There were plenty of rides for the kids, Sebastian's favourite was the bumper cars and Hannah's favourite was the splash mountain ride. There was also a big ferris wheel with great views over Wuerzburg.

Local soccer game

We went to the soccer ground in Neubrunn to watch the local team play.  It was a lovely afternoon, watching the game while eating chips and sausages. The kids had a fun time playing soccer with Kai behind the goals.

Wuerzburg without the kids

Uwe and I went to Wuerzburg for the afternoon while the kids stayed in Neubrunn and played with Helga and Bernd.  It was nice to just walk around and do some shopping in peace.  We had an early dinner in a beer garden overlooking the river and then had ice cream before coming back home.
