We spent 5 days in Queensland visiting the Gold Coast and Mooloolaba. First stop was Sea World where the kids had a great time watching the dolphins, polar bears, seals and sharks. We also managed to go on one ride and it was priceless, the photo of us going down the big slide in the log boat says it all. So much fun.
Below is the view from our apartment overlooking the Gold Coast.
We left the Gold Coast and drove up to Mooloolaba. I absolutely love this place. It was such a shame we only had 2 days here, I could have stayed a lot longer. The kids had a great time at the beach and then enjoyed the monster sized cookie afterwards.
We met some friends at Australia Zoo for a great day seeing all the animals. It was a scorching hot day so we tried to stay in the shade as much as we could. The main attraction for the kids were all the crocodiles.
These kids are the best travellers which makes it so easy to go anywhere with them. Although they weren't too happy that we had to go home.

Windy day at the beach
It was a very windy trip to the beach. We hadn't planned on going onto the sand but the kids wanted to go down near the water. They loved just jumping as the water rolled in, even though we didn't have our swimmers on or any spare clothes.

Feeding the ducks
Sebasatian was a bit scared today when we went to the park to feed the ducks. There was some really big swans there which kept trying to steal his bread from his hand. But Hannah seemed to enjoy herself.

Trip to Bunnings
A quick trip to Bunnings to get some gardening things for our backyard. We want to plant some strawberries, tomatoes, carrots, passionfruit and some herbs. Sebastian was such a big helper getting it done in the backyard.
