The big ship

Sebastian has wanted to see the big ships in the harbour for a while, so this afternoon we took the bus into the city to see one.  We got there just at the right time when it was leaving the harbour and was beautiful to see it move away from the wharf.  We then headed to the Löwenbräu for dinner before heading home. 

Zoo

More fun at the zoo.  The gorillas and chimpanzees were showing their babies.  We saw monkeys, tigers, elephants, giraffes, penguins and finally saw the pygmy hippo out of the water. 

Oops

Sebastian is loving preschool. I can't believe how much his confidence has grown this last month.  They don't have a sleep at preschool but normally he would be fine and just go to bed early.  Not today.  I found him fast asleep in Hannah's little sofa.  He was so tired from all the fun he had.

Big storm

In the afternoon we were planning on heading to the beach again and then have dinner at the pub, but we were just getting in the car when the storm hit.  So much rain, lightning and thunder.

Another beach day

We spent the morning at Camp Cove beach in Watsons Bay.  The water was very calm with no waves so it was more suitable for the kids to just run in and out of the water.  

Last day of Summer

What a gorgeous day to spend at the beach, the last official day of summer.  The kids had so much fun.

Uwe came home a bit earlier than normal so we went up to the RSL for dinner.  This was waiting for us when we left. 

Afternoon at the beach

It was a beautiful day to head to the beach for a swim and some fun playing in the sand.

Markets

Sebastian wanted to go the markets today to show Daddy the jumping castle and pony ride we normally go to.  After a bit of a search I found some open today and went to have a look.  The kids got their face painted, went on the jumping castle twice and Sebastian had a pony ride.  It was a lot of fun.
