The kids fell asleep in the car on the way to our hotel. When we got there, we had dinner and drinks out in the beer garden while the kids played on the playground. It was very relaxing and the perfect end to a great day.

Road Trip - Part 1 Legoland
Our 6 day road trip of Southern Germany began with the first stop in Legoland. The kids were so excited to go there and it certainly didn't disappoint. It was amazing!! The kids loved all the rides, seeing all the Lego sculptures and eating ice cream and popcorn. Sebastian loved driving the cars and boats and Hannah loved Splash Mountain, I think because you get very wet! Uwe and I loved 'Mini Land' which was all these famous places and things made all from Lego and they were massive. Our favourite was the soccer stadium with the thousands of Lego people inside. It was spectacular to see.
And they were exhausted by the end. It was a fantastic day.
